Registration
To apply for registration at Pre-School you will need to complete an application for registration. A copy of the Registration Pack can be downloaded at the bottom of this page, or if you prefer you can call at the Pre-School and request a Registration Pack. Children can be registered for attendance at Pre-School anytime after they are 3 months old and a copy of a birth certificate must be produced on registration. Once completed and returned to Pre-School, with the registration fee, your child's registration will then be placed on our waiting list. We arrange our waiting list in order of date of birth and registration received. You must ensure that your registration fee is enclosed with the registration application, as without this we can not process the application. A letter of confirmation of receipt of your application will be sent to you. You will be contacted nearer to your child's start date to discuss what sessions we have available to offer your child. From this moment on you have a reservation at Pre-School for your child, as these sessions have been specifically allocated to your child, you will not be able to change them for that term. If after confirmation of session allocations, you then decide that you do not wish to accept the places that have been offered, you are still liable for a full terms payment for your child, as we require a full terms notice of changes to sessions. Closer to the date of your child starting Pre-School, you will be offered a chance to visit us with your child. You will also be invited to a 'Welcome evening' which is held at Pre-School in a relaxed environment to give parents the opportunity to meet various members of staff, have a look around and discuss concerns or ask any questions you may have. Please note: If you wish to visit Pre-School prior to this, you must first contact the Pre-School to organise your visit. We can not accept ad-hoc visits as the children's needs and safety must come first. Starting Pre-School We understand that your child's first days at Pre-School are very emotional and exciting times for your child and also for parents too. At Pre-School we have a 'Settling In Policy' which explains how we work alongside parents to help every child feel confident and secure at Pre-School. A copy of this policy is available in Pre-School and can be found in the Parents Folder which is displayed in the foyer. Fees Fees are payable half-termly/termly in advance. Fees must still be paid if children are absent without notice for a period of time. If your child has to be absent over a long period of time, you must speak with the Pre-School Manager, prior to arrangements being made. No refund or reduction will be given for holidays or short-term sickness. For your child to keep his/her place at Pre-School, you must pay all the fees owed. The invoices are sent out at the beginning of each full term in September, January and April. We accept Nursery Education Funding for all eligible children who are aged three and four. If your child is eligible for funding, you will be given a Parental Declaration Form to complete at the beginning of each full term. Children are only eligible for funding in the term after they are 3 years old. For eligible children the funding is then taken off the invoice and you will need to pay any outstanding amount owed for that term. Fees are reviewed annually at Easter. Please contact the Pre-School for further information about current fees and grant funding allowance.
