Transport Display

The background was painted showing a road layout and train track.  This was just the starting point for the children to add on their creations.

The children created their vehicles, signs and traffic lights using junk modelling materials.

As you can see we have, aeroplanes, rockets, trains, boats, buses, lorries and cars. 

Road Signs

The children created road signs choosing whether they wanted to create a triangular or circular sign.

They then chose which road sign they would like to create, using the Highway Code book.

The signs where then created using paints and we attached drinking straws on the bottom of the signs for the posts.

Tyre Track Prints

The children chose one of the pre-schools toy vehicles and ran the wheels through a tray of paint.

When the wheels were completely covered in paint, they ran the vehicles over the card to create a tyre track print.
